Our Newsletter
About ten times a year, we write a newsletter in which we share about our ministry, about our life in Japan, and about current prayer points.
We keep the format of our newsletters quite varied. Sometimes we send shorter prayer updates with current information and prayer requests, and sometimes there are more detailed letters with some extras such as insights into Japanese culture or peculiarities of the Japanese language. Sometimes we also add one or more photo pages at the end. More photos, videos, and stories are available on our Telegram channel. Our newsletter is available in German, English and Russian.
We cannot emphasize enough how important your prayers are to us and how grateful we are for them! It means a lot to us to know that we have people around us who are praying for us, because every work in God’s kingdom must be prepared in prayer and carried out in prayer. That is why we strive to include you in our work and in what God is doing in Japan through our letters, so that you are well informed and can make our cause your own.

Newsletter subscription
If you would like to receive our newsletter by email, simply fill out the form on this page. We will then add you to our mailing list. If we have only met a few times or not at all, a personal message would be very helpful, but is not required. Your data will be stored electronically by OMF and us and used exclusively for sending our newsletters. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, simply send us a short message via our contact form. Your data will then be deleted.
What is a prayer partnership?
Prayer partners are people who pray for us regularly. This can be daily, once a week, or whenever a new newsletter arrives. The most important thing is that there is prayer for our needs, our ministry, and our personal spiritual walk with God. Here is a collection of tips on how you can pray specifically for missionaries.
If you would like to become our prayer partner because you want to pray for us regularly or because you already do so, we would be delighted if you would let us know. You can do this either via our contact form or via our newsletter form on this page, at the same time subscribing to our newsletter to stay informed about our current situation.
We feel very connected to our prayer partners, and knowing that there are people who pray for us regularly is a great encouragement to us. As a prayer partner, you are part of a team of spiritual companions who support our work in prayer. If you have a heart for Asia, prayer can be a first step in becoming active in God’s mission. Through prayer, you can make a big difference by praying that spiritual barriers will be broken down and that people’s hearts and entire regions will become receptive to God’s message. Every spiritual revival and expansion of God’s kingdom has been preceded by thorough preparation in prayer.
By becoming a prayer partner, you are not committing to anything other than praying regularly for Japan and for us. Normally, a prayer partnership lasts for one term on the field between two home assignments (4-5 years) and can then be renewed or terminated. Of course, you can also cancel your prayer partnership at any time in between. Simply send us a message using our contact form.
